Senior Photos on Film with Maren
The first time I photographed Maren they were a little, tiny. Their mom invited me photograph them with their brother playing in their home bits of creative projects on the table, taped to the walls.
Well time flies.
This year Maren graduated. Lucky me to create these images with them. We documented peeks of their multi-hyphenate creativity (so much like their creatively prolific mom) and expressive cool (yes those are wisdom teeth earrings).
Looking to book senior portraits the kid you love? Keep reading…
I offer easy-going, show-and-tell inspired Senior Portrait sessions captured on detail rich medium format film documenting your child’s favorite things, activities, and features in their favorite places.
When’s the best time for Senior Portraits? Right now. No matter the month or time of year we can create a beautiful gallery of sentimental images.
Above all choose a time (both date AND time of day) that’s most stress-free with plenty of time both decompression time before the session and after it. My Senior Sessions aren’t timed but end naturally between 2-3 hours with extra time for breaks, travel between locations, etc. This gives us plenty of time to create and connect.
Seasonal considerations: April and May *might offer warmer weather (emphasis on “might”) BUT one thing is for sure: the final months of the school year are stacked with end-of-year activities. That combined with unpredictable spring weather…
The summer/fall before or after graduation offers flexibility and reliable light and weather without the stresses of year-end busy-ness.
Already graduated? Graduating next year? No problem. There’s no rules, let alone rules about graduation pics needing to be done before or after they “walk”, graduate, move out, etc. Now is always the best time. Want to send a graduation announcement- send them anytime!
