Design& Customization

The design and print process is a making-real process.

Deeply personal, taboo confronting, anarchistic, transformational celebrations of your singular body and life, Seen portraits offer witness. sparking layers of embodied and ancestral meaning. I imagine future you seeing herself, remembering the bravery of being. I imagine your daughter outlining your hip or lips like hers, remembering the hue of your skin, the way you stood, aged, laughed and moved. Cyclically we expand.

Drawing inspiration from the our time together, my design and print processes are a following through, a making-real of what we created and explored together and ensures your portraits will continue to be Seen.

Fine Art albums eye-catching, personalized albums in delicious colors

Choosing a cover that repeats a dominate color found throughout your session highlights its significance and mood and offering a sneak peek continuity to the story whether the album is opened or closed.

In this “Seen” album a saturated orange-red cover recalls the experience of being surrounded by southern Utah’s ironic sandstone cliffs.

Alternatively a complimentary color, like teal, turquoise or green, intensifies the dominate color while drawing subtle attention to the blues and greens of tattoo ink, spring lichen, and a personal collection of southwest jewelry.
